A strong DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) strategy is not just the right thing to do; it leads to better business performance, innovation, and retention. However, over one-third of EMEA workers told us that their employer only pays lip service to diversity and inclusion and is failing to make it a reality. European leaders may also need to do more to ensure inclusive behaviours are prioritised across their management teams – EMEA workers reported lower levels of inclusive behaviours from leaders than any other region.
