I’m excited to share key findings from our 2023 Kelly Global Re:work Report, especially as it follows closely on the heels of the 2022 European Work Voices Report – a people-first look at workplace experiences. What sets this Re:work report apart from previous years is a growing focus on talent. In 2023, we surveyed 4,200 workers across 11 countries alongside 1,500 global executives, revealing how people really feel about work and identifying gaps between leadership and talent points of view.
In this European overview, we extract country and regional experiences from our international findings, focusing on talent and exploring the factors that drive attraction and retention in an uncertain work and economic landscape. Our global report spotlighted a group of Workforce Resilience Leaders – organisations more likely to deliver high employee satisfaction and retention levels alongside greater profitability. This group displayed a stronger commitment to talent needs, demonstrating that a people focus doesn’t just deliver good experiences for workers, better retention, and greater access to skills; it has a hugely positive impact on business performance.
